Donald Wallace, 71, passed away peacefully at his home March 23, 1991.
He was born September 4, 1919 in Salt Lake City to Campbell and Agnes Campbell Wallace. He married Dorothy Mary Dilley on May 11, 1940 in Salt Lake City. He was a member of the L.D.S. Church; served as a volunteer Fireman in Magna; he served in the U.S. Army in Germany during World War II; he organized one of the first Boy Scout Troops in Kearns and served as Scoutmaster; he worked for the Copper Printing Company in Magna; and he was employed by the Newspaper Agency for more than 25 years.He is loved by his wife, sons, daughters, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and he will be missed by all.
Survived by his wife; two sons and two daughters, Mr. and Mrs. James (Diane) Burnside; Mr. and Mrs. Duane (Carolyn) Wallace; Mr. and Mrs. Dean (Elizabeth) Wallace; Mr. and Mrs. Jerry (Dixie) Shelledy; ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a granddaughter, a grandson, and a great-grandson.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 28, 1991 at 2:00 p.m. in the Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary Chapel, 10600 South 1700 East, Sandy, where friends may call Wednesday 6:00-8:00 p.m. and Thursday one hour prior to the service. Interment Larkin Sunset Gardens.
