A Southern Utah University field trip June 22-29 will offer a chance to study the culture of Mexico, particularly that of the Yucatan Peninsula and the ancient Mayan civilization.

Dick Carlson, SUU professor of language and literature, will lead the expedition. Included will be three daylong field trips and possibly a fourth, which are option during the stay, and participants may sign up for three credits of Continuing Education 592, Language 592 or Spanish 592.A meeting for participants will be held April 4 at 8 p.m. in the Student Center Zion Conference Room.
