The Volunteer Auxiliary at Orem Community Hospital presented a check for $6,000 - one of the largest ever made to the hospital by the auxiliary - to the hospital to purchase needed medical equipment.
According to Alene Crystal, auxiliary president, the money was raised from operating a gift shop at the hospital, bake and rummage sales, and other activities."We greatly appreciate what the Volunteer Auxiliary has done at Orem Community Hospital for the patients and staff," said Laurel Kay, the hospital's chief operating officer. "We also appreciate this contribution which will greatly benefit our patients."
