A 14-year-old boy remained hospitalized in serious but stable condition Wednesday after being run over and pinned under a car Tuesday afternoon.

Michael Mills, 5657 W. 3640 South, was sitting on the hood of the car with another 14-year-old when a 16-year-old driver rounded a corner at 3610 S. 5725 West. Mills slid off the hood and was pinned underneath the car for about 10 minutes before rescuers could lift the car and pull the boy out, said officer Wayne Young.He was flown by helicopter to LDS Hospital where he is being treated for head lacerations.
