Loving husband and devoted father, son, brother, friend and neighbor, Michael Lloyd Carey, age 45, died March 20, 1991, in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Born February 21, 1946 in Fargo, North Dakota to Thomas E. and Delores Harvey Carey. Married Judy Crossman on July 23, 1965 in Malad, Idaho. Mike graduated from Judge Memorial High School. He was an Eagle Scout and an altar boy. Worked for the Federal Government throughout his career, currently as Regional Inspector for the Bureau of Reclamation. He loved the outdoors and was a true sportsman. He was an avid gardener and loved sharing the fruits of his labor with others. His achievements were many and were due to his being a hard worker all of his life. His favorite hobby was helping others.Survived by his wife, Bountiful; son, Richard Michael, Centerville; daughter, Cynthia Sue, Bountiful; mother, Salt Lake City; brother, Gregory, Martinez, California; and sister, Colleen Nadauld, Salt Lake City. Preceded in death by his father; and a brother, Timothy.

Mass of the Christian Burial will be recited Monday, March 25, 12 noon at St. Olaf's Catholic Church, 313 East 1700 South, Bountiful. Friends may call at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, Sunday, 6-8 p.m. Vigil service will be held at 7:45 p.m. Committal services, Bountiful City Cemetery.
