Thelma Mae Thornton Larsen, 80, of Richfield, died March 22, 1991 at the Richfield Care Center.
Born May 11, 1910 in American Fork, Utah to Owen and Alice Peterson Thornton. Married Lowell Kent Larsen December 2, 1930 in Provo, Utah. Later solomnized June 5, 1952 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died May 7, 1983. She was an active member of the LDS Church, where she served in the auxiliary organizations. She stayed active in Larsens Ace Hardware in Richfield until age 79.She is survived by four sons, Kent T. Larsen, Springville; Leon C. Larsen, and Lyle E. Larsen, both of Richfield; Larry B. Larsen, Salt Lake City; 19 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; one brother and one sister, Richard Thornton, Walnut Grove, California; Geniel Thornton, Salt Lake City. Preceded in death by a brother, James; and a sister, Elaine.
Funeral services will be Monday, March 25, at 1 p.m. in the Richfield 7th LDS Ward Chapel, 159 North 400 West, Richfield. Friends may call at the Neal S. Magleby and Sons Mortuary Sunday evening from 7-9 p.m. and again on Monday morning from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Burial, Richfield City Cemetery.
