Armanella Degraw Wilson, 95, died March 21, 1991 in a Spanish Fork care center after a long and glorious life.
She was born January 18, 1896 at Payson, a daughter of John and Mary Pendleton Degraw. She married Carroll A. Wilson, April 22, 1914 at Provo. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died July 28, 1978. Her early years were spent in Star Valley, Wyoming and she moved back to Payson at the age of 12. She love the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing with her family. She and her husband raised Arabian horses and traveled all over the United States showing them. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in the Relief Society and Primary organizations.She is survived by three daughters and two sons, Della Bulkley, Marie Christensen and Erma Hayes, all of Salt Lake City; Shirley A. Wilson, Payson and Ross P. Wilson, Huntington Beach, California; 25 grandchildren, 59 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Clifford Degraw, Spanish Fork. A daughter, two sons, four brothers and two sisters all preceded her in death.
Services will be Monday, 11 a.m. in the Payson Sixteenth LDS Ward Chapel, 779 South 700 West. Friends may call at the Walker Mortuary, 587 South 100 West, Payson, Sunday 6-8 p.m. or at the church Monday 10-10:45 a.m. Burial, Payson City Cemetery.
