Woodrow Wilson Young, age 75, died March 20, 1991 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
He was born September 16, 1915 in Mountain Home, Utah, a son of Joseph Angel and Laretta Brinkerhoff Young. He married Veda Miller September 29, 1941 in Panguitch; marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He and his wife have lived in Las Vegas for the last 22 years, prior to that, they were residents of Panguitch, where he served on the Panguitch City Council. He was an active member of the LDS Church, having served in various auxiliaries. He was a veteran of WW II.Survived by wife, Las Vegas, Nev.; children, James W. and Susan Young, Salt Lake City; Joan and Dennis Dana, Las Vegas, Nev.; William R. and Julie Young, Soda Springs, Idaho; Dorothy Ann and Rodney Cole, Glendale, Ariz.; 16 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brother, Clark, Ogden; sister, Margaret Leavitt, Hemet, California.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 23, 1 p.m., in the Panguitch LDS Stake Center, where friends may call for viewing from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. prior to services. Burial, with military honors by the American Legion Panguitch Post #25, will be in the Panguitch Cemetery under the direction of the Springer-Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
