Clifford Jesse Austin; age 98 of Lehi, died March 20, 1991 in the American Fork Hospital of causes incident to age.

He was born March 28, 1892 in Lehi, Utah to Parley and Charlotte Butt Austin. Married Jetta Ann Cummings, January 18, 1913 in Lehi, Utah; their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died March 25, 1954. Later married Kate Fowler, January 14, 1955 in Lehi, Utah; She died August 2, 1984. He was a farmer, and had been employed at Geneva Steel. He was a member of the LDS Church and had served as president of the Young Men's organization in the Lehi 2nd Ward for 15 years; as secretary of the Seventies Quorum, on the stake board of genealogy and secretary of the High Priest Quorum. He was an avid gardner, having won more than 1,000 ribbons in State Flower Shows. Cliff spent countless hours making colorful "shadow boxes" for his friends. He will always be remember for his quick wit, love and concern for others.Survived by a daughter and her husband, George and Maxine Holindrake, Salt Lake City; granddaughters, Karen Ethridge and Laurie Livingston, both Salt Lake City; five great-grandchildren, Necia, John and Zack Ethridge; Brooke and Ashley Livingston, all of Salt Lake City; brothers, William "Bill" Austin, American Fork; Herbert Austin, West Valley City; sister, Mrs. Elijah (Alta) Chipman, American Fork.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 23rd, at 11 a.m. in the Wing Mortuary Chapel in Lehi; where friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until time of service. Burial will be in the Lehi City Cemetery.
