Utah Parent Center will present two workshops for parents whose children have disabilities.
The first, "Communication and Conferencing Skills," will be Thursday, March 28, at the Davis School District auditorium, at 7 p.m. The presentation will teach basic communication skills and help parents communicate with school personnel."The Parent's Role in the Education Decisionmaking Process" will be Thursday, April 25, at 7 p.m in the auditorium. It is designed to help parents understand their roles in the special education system and develop effective strategies to advocate for their child.
The seminars are free and all parents with children who have disabilities are invited to attend.
