Some 140 bulls from a dozen breeds will be sold Saturday, March 30, at 1 p.m., sponsored by the Utah Beef Improvement Association. The annual affair will be at the Centerfield Test Station, one mile east of the coal yard in Centerfield.
Sale officials have selected the best bulls from the 270 that have been on test at 60 ranches in Utah, Idaho and Colorado. The animals are virgin yearlings and are ready to breed, according to Karl C. Dean, owner of the Centerfield station.Sale animals include polled herefords, charolais, red angus, shorthorn, hereford, tarentaise, simmental, devon, gelbvieh, limousin, angus and beefmaster.
