Charges will not be filed against a woman who admitted fatally injuring a man who she said raped her 9-year-old daughter, officials said.

The mother's use of force was justified when she pulled the man off her daughter and threw him against a coffee table, Assistant State Attorney Peter LaPorte said Monday."The injuries appear to be the result of the mother's effort to come to the aid of her daughter and that would be justifiable homicide," LaPorte said.

Richard Tiger, 53, died in a hospital 12 days after the January incident on the Hollywood Seminole Reservation.
