Cecil Catherine Potter Meidlinger, 92, passed away March 19, 1991.

Born June 30, 1898 in St. Joseph, Missouri to John Clark and Elizabeth Mae Crane Potter. Married Michael John Meidlinger October 28, 1916 in Council Bluffs, Iowa; he preceded her in death, February 16, 1938. Active member LDS Church, having served in many varied positions, including, Relief Society, Sunday School and Primary. She was an excellent cook and received many honors. She took great delight in feeding the LDS Missionaries. She was a very generous and giving person and was loved by all.Survivors are: Sons and daughters, Mrs. Robert (Frances) White, Orem; Mrs. Keith (Madeline) Teague, South Jordan; Alfred Charles and wife Margaret, Council Bluffs, Iowa; Richard John and wife Betsey, Midvale; Harold Edgar and wife Hazel, Fargo, North Dakota; and Michael John, Murray; 25 grandchildren and 57 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by an infant daughter, Lucille and four brothers.

Friends may call at Larkin Mortuary, 260 E. South Temple, Thursday, 6-8 p.m. Funeral service and interment will be in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Because of her great love for the Missionaries and the Missionary program, the family suggests in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the LDS Church Missionary Fund.
