Boyd Day, 69, died March 18, 1991, in Provo, of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Born March 25, 1921, in Fillmore, to Horace E. and Edna Lewis Day. He married Mary Davies April 4, 1960, in Fillmore. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II, with the SeaBees in the South Pacific. A graduate of Millard High School, where he was active in athletics. Attended the University of Utah. He worked for the Millard County Telephone and Continental Telephone Companies. He had taken especially good care of his parents in their latter years. Was an attentive and loving husband.Survived by: His wife, Fillmore; a sister, Mrs. Jake (Gwen) Davies, Roy; brother-in-law, J.A. Ogle, San Diego, Calif.; brother-in-law, David (Eileen) Davies, Salt Lake City; also survived by several nephews and nieces. Preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Gale, a sister, May.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 23, 1 p.m., in the Fillmore Stake Center, where friends may call Saturday, 11:30 a.m., till time of services. Burial, Fillmore Cemetery, under the direction of the Olpin Mortuary.
