Nita Lee Henderson, 89, died March 13, 1991, at her home in Cedar City.
She was born August 28, 1901, in Panguitch to John Randolph and Rhoda Worthen Lee. She married Reed Samuel Henderson, June 3, 1925 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He preceded her in death December 7, 1978. She was a member of the LDS Church and served in the Primary, Relief Society and MIA auxiliaries. She served an LDS Mission, with her husband, the day after their marriage. She was an elementary school teacher, a past member of the Business and Professional Women's Club and was also a past member of the Lady Lions of Panguitch.Survivors include one daughter, Louise Adams, one grandson, Ronald Reed Adams, and four great-grandchildren, all living in Cedar City. Preceded in death by five children, Baby Boy, Stanley, Florance and Marilyn.
Nita is also survived by children she reared after her sister Alba's death, Dorothy Norton, Brigham City; Kenneth Roberts, Boise, Idaho; Lucille Kelbch, Salt Lake City; and Wallace Roberts, Circleville. She was preceded in death by sister, Alba Roberts, brothers, Dennis R. Lee and Elmo B. Lee.
Funeral services were held in the Southern Utah Mortuary Chapel with burial in the Panguitch City Cemetery.
