Nancy Jane Huish Havnes Wallace, age 60, died March 18, 1991 in a local hospital.

Born April 4, 1930 in Salt Lake City to Wayne W. and Virginia D. Huish. Attended East High School and the University of Utah receiving a BA in Theater. She was affiliated with Delta Gamma Sorority. Married Ellsworth "Doc" Havnes in 1951; later divorced. Married John M. Wallace, Jr., in 1979; he died in 1982. Member of the LDS Church. She worked for the Newspaper Agency Corp.; was Music Director for KSL Radio and later Director of Publications for the University of Utah. She was a member of the Junior League, a volunter for the American Heart Assn., and worked on the production staff of KUED's "Number 7 Sunny Street" in the 1960's. She was an accomplished pianist and gourmet cook. Nancy always displayed a wit and charm that all who knew her appreciated. She loved good music, literature, her many friends and family and, will be dearly missed by all.Survived by her children, Lisa Carlson, Park City; Mark Havnes and Michael Havnes, both of Salt lake City; her mother, Salt Lake City; brother, John W. Huish, Salt Lake City; sister, Ann Stewart, Washougal, Washington; and a granddaughter, Kerbe Havnes. Preceded in death by her father; and a sister, Susan.

Memorial Services Wednesday, March 20th, 12 noon, Skagg's Memorial Chapel, 777 South 1300 East Street.
