Orissa Pernella Jolley Liddiard, age 95, died March 17, 1991, in Provo.
Born February 8, 1896 in Washington, Utah to Bryant Heber and Annie Pernella Nissen Jolley. Married Raymond Liddiard, June 8, 1918 in Provo; he died August 26, 1965. Received education in Duchesne, Provo and Brigham Young Academy Schools. Member LDS Church. Served as visiting teacher for 30 years. Also served as Relief Society magazine representative. Received an honorary citation for Red Cross Service during World War II. Member DUP. Served as secretary of Provo Navy Mothers Club. Orissa loved to have a vegetable garden, she also loved to crochet and made hundreds of beautiful quilts.Survivors: two sons and two daughters, James Bryant Liddiard, South Jordan; Lloyd Raymond Liddiard, Mrs. John (Lois) Lyons, both of Provo; Mrs. Harry (Bernice) Dunston, Upland, California; 21 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; two brothers and two sisters, Orlando Jolley, Springville; Andrew Jolley, Effie Pinegar, Mrs. Fred (Afton) Harding, all of Provo. Preceded in death by five sisters and two brothers.
Funeral services Wednesday, 11 a.m., Berg Mortuary of Provo, 185 East Center, where friends may call Tuesday, 6-8 p.m. or Wednesday one hour prior to service. Interment: Provo City Cemetery.
