Rulon "Rudy" Charles Lake, age 76, died peacefully in his home of cancer March 17, 1991.
He was born July 8, 1914 in Fairview, Idaho to Lawrence B. and Prudence Smith Lake. He attended schools in Rexburg, Idaho and El Segundo, California, graduated from El Segundo High School in 1934. Married Genevieve Wynn October 1, 1934 in Rexburg, Idaho. He worked for the Standard Oil Company in California and Utah, and American Gilsonite in Grand Junction, Colorado, where he retired in 1971. He moved to North Salt Lake in 1975. Member of the LDS Church.He is survived by his wife, Genevieve, North Salt Lake; daughter and son-in-law, Don and Linda Boyce, Farmington; sons, Andrew Lake and wife, Janet, of Broomfield, Colo.; and Don P. Lake and wife, Debbie, of Yankton, South Dakota; also ten grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Wednesday, March 20th, at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main. Friends may call Tuesday evening, 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to services. Graveside services will be held at the Archer, Idaho Cemetery, at 4 p.m. Wednesday.
