The pain and suffering ended March, 1991 for our beloved wife, mother, and friend, Neva Ann Eileen Perea Pace, age 33, resulting from an extremely valiant fight against cancer.

Born December 16, 1957 in Salt Lake City to Benny Paul and Hazel Perea. Attended West High School and graduated from Kearns High School. Married David Lane Pace, her first and only love in 1981.Neva was a genuinely kind and thoughtful person who enjoyed many simple pleasures in life, especially family barbeques, poetry, and big red roses. She cherished the countless trips with the Pace family camping, fishing, and hunting. She was a great sport and would participate in nearly anything. Neva achieved her highest goal in life by making her marriage a happy and enduring one that created a very special child. For 17 unselfish years, she provided Dave with constant love and devotion. Her love, so strong and true, will never be surpassed. Neva's extraordinary strength and courage throughout this relentless disease will inspire all of us close to her. She will be deeply missed.

Survived by husband; son, David Aaron; parents; beloved father and mother-in-law, Robert and Cleo Pace, all of Kearns; sisters, Mrs. Ernie (Maxine) Silvas, Idaho; Mrs. Alex (Lorraine) Abila; Irene Haughen; brother, Stan, all of Salt Lake City; very special aunt, Mrs. Christ (Eileen) Gonzalez, Loveland, Colorado; aunt, Mrs. Julio (Andrea) Santiago, Salt Lake City; loving brother and sisters-in-law, Bob Pace, West Valley City; Carol Steele, Salt Lake City; Dave and Sue Newbold, Kearns; many nieces and nephews and cousins.

Special thanks to Darlene Ogaard, you were truly her best friends; Dr. Greg Litton for his soothing care; Neva's outstanding employer, Cover Pools, Inc. I'm forever grateful to my source of strength, A man amongst 9-year-olds, David Aaron Pace. You were always Mom's little meat-a-ball; now your're my life! I love you, Buddy. Dad.
