Olive May Jenkin White, age 91, passed away March 16, 1991 at a local hospital.

Born November 23, 1899 at Cape Town, South Africa to William and Florence Coven Jenkin. Married Charles Thomas Whtie November 30, 1931 in Yuma, Arizona. He passed away February 8, 1979. She came to the United States at the age of 24. She lived in Salt Lake City most of her life. She loved and was loved by all who knew her. She loved animals.Survived by a son, Charles Colven White and his wife, Sara of Salt Lake City; four grandchildren, Kathy, Guy, Kevin and Maria; three great-grandchildren, Ryan, Tyson and Alissa; a sister, Jane Carlson of Salt Lake City; nephews and nieces, John Carlson, Judy Yeates Mollerup, John Yeates and Robert Yeates; special friends, Janet and Irene Henderson, and Harry Gallo. Preceded in death by her husband, Charles T. White; a son, Richard M. White; and three sisters, Dorothy Yeates, Gladys Jenkins and Marjorie Jenkin.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 19th, at 11 a.m., in the Russon Brothers Mortuary Chapel, 255 South 200 East, where friends may call from 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Salt Lake City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Utah, 4613 So. 4000 West, WVC, Ut 84120.
