Former Salt Lake City librarian Sarah Lucille Harris died March 22, 1991, in Salt Lake City. She was 75.

Miss Harris served as librarian at Judge Memorial High School for four years before joining the Salt Lake City Library where she worked for 40 years before retiring.Born Oct. 27, 1915, she was the daughter of Matthew and Mary E. Baker Harris. She moved from Wyoming to Utah at the age of 14. She was a graduate of East High, Westminster College, the University of Utah and the University of Denver Library School. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, past president of the Salt Lake Zonta Club, a member of the Woman's Board of Westminster College, a former YWCA board member and a member of various library associations.

The funeral will be Tuesday, March 26, 10 a.m., Larkin Mortuary, 260 E. South Temple. Friends may call at the mortuary Monday, March 25, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Interment will be in the Evanston City Cemetery.
