Provo and Springville each received 4 inches; Nephi, Bryce Canyon and Capitol Reef, 3 inches; Spanish Fork and Monticello, 1; Price Canyon, 8; Soldier Summit, 2 to 3; Kanab and Milford, 2; Alta, 9; and Huntington Canyon and Long Valley Junction, 5. The forecast along the Wasatch Front was for decreasing snow showers by Friday afternoon over the mountains, sunny skies and high temperatures to perhaps near 50. On Saturday, the clouds will increase and temperatures will be in the mid- to upper 50s. Rain or show showers will increase Sunday. Rain or snow could fall Monday or Tuesday. The St. George forecast Saturday was for near 70.
