The Richfield district office of the Bureau of Land Management will begin collecting daily fees from visitors to the Little Sahara Recreation Area this weekend, officials said.
Bert Hart, district public information specialist, said Wednesday that campsites and running water are available at the popular 60,000-acre sand dunes recreation area near Delta.The area is open year-round, he said. Fees are collected only in spring and summer months.
The daily fee will be $4, the same as last year, he said. An annual pass can be purchased for $35.
