RCA Records says it will use 100 percent recycled board for all compact disc packaging.

The record company said the move was being made for environmental reasons so that no new trees will be cut down for the production of packaging and therefore no new material will be added to existing landfills. The "recycled" logo will appear on the back of the longboxes. In addition, RCA will implement an aggressive recycling program in its offices to further its active involvement in environmental conversation.
