An Ogden man accused in a shooting that left a man paralyzed has dismissed his attorney, effectively postponing a trial that was to have begun next week under heightened security.

Tyrone Lemons, 18, is charged with attempted murder in the Aug. 26 shooting of Pete Romero Jr. in an Ogden park.Romero, 19, was hit in the left side of the head by a blast from a 12-gauge shotgun early that morning, leaving him paralyzed on one side of his body, unable to speak and confined to a nursing home.
