The Union Park Toastmasters Club will conduct an eight-week series of public workshops beginning Monday, March 25. A nominal fee is charged for the series, called "Speechcraft."
Registration will be at 6:30 p.m. on the first night of classes at 488 E. 6400 South. Subsequent classes will be on consecutive Mondays at 7 p.m. Topics will cover impromptu speaking, speaking styles and how to listen and evaluate communication.Wally Haynes, voice/data specialist with the Federal Aviation Administration, will open the series with a talk on the importance of communications in personal and occupational life.
