Sporting a record-high ranking of sixth in the nation, BYU's women's gymnastics team heads to Albuquerque, New Mexico for the first ever Western Athletic Conference women's gymnastics championships, Saturday.

The Cougars' sixth-place ranking is based on a school best regional qualifying score of 191.62.Top-ranked Utah, the five-time HCAC champion, is the heavy favorite to walk away with the WAC title. The Cougars are regarded as equally likely to grab the runner-up spot that they've held for the last two years in the HCAC.
