A federal jury Tuesday began deliberating the fate of two Manuel Noriega co-defendants accused of plotting a guns for drugs swap under the direction of the deposed Panamanian dictator.

U.S. District Judge William Hoeveler sent the case of Brian Davidow and William Saldarriaga Tuesday morning following his final instructions.Davidow, 29, and Saldarriaga, 46, are accused of plotting with Noriega in 1986 to use the yacht Krill to deliver rifles to Colombia in exchange for drugs. The weapons were believed destined for leftist rebels in Colombia.
