Josie died at age 62 on March 14, 1991. She was an inspiration to all and courageous in her battle with leukemia. We will cherish her love, humor and smiling face.

Josie was born in Park City, Utah, June 21, 1928 to Victor and Matilda Padjen Toly. She married Ronald W. Clark, May 10, 1948. They were married for 18 years. She was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church and later the practice of Nichiren Sho Shu Bhuddism. Dedicated to helping others, she was employed by FHP, Community Nursing, Holy Cross Hospital and Intermountain Health Care.She is survived by her loving children, Carrie Jo Clark, Vickie Clark Rodman, Ronald B. Clark and wife, Kathy, all Salt Lake City; three grandchildren, Matt Clark, Amy Dean, Seth Pritchett, all Salt Lake City; sisters, Ann Houtz, Salt Lake City; Ida Nuneviller, Park City; brothers, Tony Toly and wife, Thelma, Salt Lake City; George Toly and wife, Loyla, Oakhurst, California; Pete Toly and wife, Sharon, Layton; and many dear nieces and nephews and incredible loving friends from all walks of life. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, John Byer, Frank Byer, Mike Umiljenovich and sister, Angelina Toly.

The family expresses a sincere thank you to Dr. William F. Reilly, Jr., his staff and the East 8 nurses and personnel at LDS Hospital, Holy Cross Hospital and IHC.

Services will be held Tuesday, 12 noon, at the Neil O'Donnell and Sons Mortuary, 372 East First South. Committal Services, Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 4th Avenue and T Street. In lieu of flowers family suggests contributions to Deseret Foundation, LDS Hospital, 8th Avenue and C Street, SLC, UT 84143. Monies donated to the Josie Clark Memorial Cancer Fund.
