Hazel Elizabeth McKenzie Orgill, 85, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 1991 in Clearfield, Utah.

She was born October 26, 1905 in Bloomfield, New Mexico, a daughter of Murdock and Alice Mitchell MacKenzie. She married William Clark Humes on October 20, 1927; they were later divorced. She married Joseph Alvin Orgill on January 25, 1937 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple; he died November 13, 1971. She was a homemaker and a retired employee of Hill Air Force Base. Active member of the Federated Women's Organization. Also active in the Layton-Kaysville Senior Citizens Center. Hazel was an active member in the LDS Church, holding positions as visiting teacher, Sunday School secretary, Young Women's secretary and in the Extraction Program. She fulfilled a Temple mission for her ward.Surviving are two stepsons, two stepdaughters, Darold J. Orgill, Hurricane; Dale V. Orgill, Las Vegas, Nevada; Mrs. Quintes L. (Aldabell) Wilson, Washington, Utah; Mrs. Bert T. (Sarah) Giles, Kaysville; 11 step-grandchildren; 31 step-great-grandchildren; also surviving are one halfbrother, one halfsister and one stepsister, William Francis McKenzie, Butte, Montana; Mary Patricia Cavanaugh, Dallas, Texas; Elizabeth Cobb, Las Vegas, Nevada; loving and caring nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, 11 a.m., at the Layton 38th Ward, 275 Park St. Friends may call Friday from 6-8 p.m. at Lindquist's Layton Mortuary, 1074 No. Fairfield Rd., and at the Church on Saturday from 9:45-10:45 a.m. Interment: Heber City Cemetery.
