Gertrude A. Gentry, age 97, died March 13, 1991 in Bountiful, Utah.

Born December 8, 1893, in Morrisville, Bucks County, Pennsylvania to Thomas and Pamelia Emma Jolly Aitken Bell. Graduated from Keystone State Normal School, Pennsylvania in 1913. Taught in a one room school until World War I, and then was fore-woman in a Munitions plant in New Jersey. Married William Emory Gentry, of Bridesburg, Pennsylvania in Morrisville October 8, 1919.Gertrude and Will had three children, Doris Bell Gentry Burkhardt, Morrisville, Pennsylvania, William E. Gentry, Bountiful, and Robert Aitken Gentry of Flemington, New Jersey who preceded her in death in April of 1989. Her husband Will, died January 15, 1973. There are 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchidren.

Gertrude lived in Morrisville, Pennsylvania 93 years and was an active member of the Morrisville United Methodist Church. She served as a teacher with the young women, was a leader in the Women's Society and in later years taught the Adult Sunday School Class. She loved to bake and was known for her homemade bread and rolls. She will be dearly missed by her living family and all who knew her.
