Ronald Alvera, died on March 10, 1991 in Houston, Texas.
He was born on July 27, 1953 in Salt Lake City to Ben and Rebecca Florez Alvera. Ronald graduated from the University of Utah in 1981 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Teaching. He is a former teacher of the Granite School District and at the time of his death was teaching at Reagan High School in Houston. Ronald loved children, animals, nature and was very active in caring for the aged and the sick.Survived by his parents; four brothers, Dennis, John, Anthony and Michael; all of Salt Lake City; three sisters, Mrs. Bruce (Angela) Alvord, Rosemarie Alvera, both Salt Lake City; Mrs. David (Vivian) Player, Las Vegas, Nevada; 18 nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.
Memorial service will be held Saturday, March 16, 1991 at 10 a.m. at Neil O'Donnell and Sons Mortuary, 372 East 100 South. Committal Service immediately following the ceremony will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 4th Avenue and T Street.
