Ruth Matilda Seal Lasater, age 90, died March 11, 1991 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Born February 25, 1901 in Salt Lake City a daughter of Hyrum and Matilda Seal. Married Elmer Lee Lasater on April 3, 1920, Salt Lake LDS Temple; he preceded her in death on June 15, 1985. Ruth supported the World War II effort by working at Remington Arms in Salt Lake. Subsequently she worked at the Salt Lake County Hospital, Hotel Utah, and at Hill AFB. With her husband, she served an LDS mission to New Mexico. She was loved and will be missed by all who knew her.Survivors include her son, E. Lee Lasater, Salt Lake City; three daughters, Shirley Hoggan, Sandy; Joy Stone, Roy; and Gloria Wilkes, Scottsdale, Arizona; 14 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.
Funeral services on Thursday, March 14th, at 12 noon, Central Park Ward, 2700 South 300 East. Friends may call at the Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, Wednesday evening 6-8 p.m. and at the ward on Thursday, 11-11:45 a.m. Interment will be in the Salt Lake City Cemetery.
