Dan E. Allred, age 62, died March 9, 1991 at his home in Wildomar, California of cancer.
He was born January 17, 1929 in Aurora, the son of Willis Erven and Ruth Durfee Allred. He married Luella Case January 24, 1949 in Annabella, Utah; their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He lived in Aurora and Richfield for many years where he worked as a mechanic. Several years ago he moved to California. He was a construction worker and active member of the LDS Church.He is survived by his wife; one son, Erven Arnold; and one daughter, Debra Ann Matthews, all of Wildomar, Calif.; five grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Dee Allred, Sigurd; Amy Quarnberg Smith, and Alice Shaw, both of Aurora; Odessa Davis, Tucson, Ariz.; Donna Helms, Werner Robins, Georgia. He was preceded in death by an infant son, Danny Lee June 19, 1951; and a daughter, Judy Lynn April 19, 1990. Also preceded in death by brother, Kay, and sister, Sabra Stanley.
Funeral services will be held Friday, March 15th, 12 noon, in the Aurora 1st LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call for viewing at the Springer Turner Funeral Home in Richfield, Thursday, 6-8 p.m., and at the ward chapel in Aurora Friday, 10:30-11:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Annabella Cemetery.
