Henry Day Ford, 3899 S. Redwood Road, had increases in sales volume and number of units sold during 1990, resulting in the most profitable year in company's 37-year history, according to Mike Day, president.

Sales volume reached $28.4 million, a 30 percent increase over the $21.8 million in 1989. The volume of new vehicles increased 23 percent to 1,303 from 1,064 in 1989 and used vehicle sales volume increased 29 percent from 722 units in 1989 to 929 in 1990.Day said the service department had a 30 percent increase from $698,822 in 1989 to $907,791 in 1990 and parts sales increased 35 percent from $810,489 in 1989 to $1 million in 1990.

He also announced that Dave Ibarra has been promoted from general sales manager to general manager and Mike McOmber has been appointed general sales manager.
