A Provo ophthalmologist pleaded guilty Friday in 4th District Court to five charges of obtaining a controlled substance by mis-representation, all third-degree fel-onies.

Paul F. Olson, 40, admitted calling in prescriptions for patients and then picking the drugs up for his own use. Judge Ray M. Harding referred Olson to Adult Probation and Parole and ordered him to return April 5 for sentencing.Olson could be sentenced to up to five years in prison.
