Members of the Salt Lake Board of Realtors selected houses built by Shurtleff Construction and Davis Construction Co. as the "most saleable" in the 1988 Parade of Homes.

The winning homes were selected by Realtors attending a special pre-opening showing of the 10 homes built for the Parade, an annual event of the Home Builders Association of Greater Salt Lake.Shurtleff's home "Country Elegance," was designed by Design Masters, with interior design by The Black Goose and Country Furnishings. The home took honors for the "Green" category - homes located along the Hidden Valley golf course which adjoins the Hidden Oaks development, the site in southeast Sandy of this year's home show.

The Davis Construction home, "Ethereal Visions," took "Village" honors for the most saleable home located away from the golf course. The Davis entry was designed by Robert McArthur with interior design by Jim Micklesen, Foremost Interiors.

This is the first year that Realtors have judged the "most saleable" homes in the Parade.
