University of Montana senior forward Kevin Kearney and University of Nevada sophomore center Ric Herrin were coaches' unanimous selections to the All-Big Sky Conference men's basketball team.

Kearney also was named the regular season most valuable player by the coaches. His Montana teammate, junior forward Delvon Anderson, was honored as the Big Sky's top newcomer.Joining Kearney and Herrin on the all-Big Sky first team was Boise State sophomore center Tanoka Beard, a 6-9 Ogden, Utah, native. Also on the team were Idaho's Sammie Freeman, EWU's Brian Sullivan, Idaho State's Alex Kreps, Montana's Daren Engellant, Montana State's Johnny Mack and Nevada's Kevin Soares and Matt Williams.
