Twelve people were killed and 25 injured in a fiery car and truck accident during morning rush hour Wednesday, officials said.

About 35 vehicles, including a truck filled with propane gas, were involved in the pileup in thick fog on the M4 highway about 70 miles northwest of London, according to the Berkshire Fire Brigade.Firefighters doused the burning vehicles with foam and cut bodies out of the charred wreckage.
