Two Project Discovery summer sessions at Southern Utah University are being offered to gifted and talented sixth and seventh graders in the region.

The two-week-long sessions, with 24 students per session, will begin July 7 and July 14, according to Sara Penny, SUU Project Discovery director. The program is geared to give students an intensive learning experience through classes in the sciences and the arts, as well as field trips and activities. They will also attend two Utah Shakespearean Festival productions.The cost is $365, which includes classes, meals on campus, lodging, field trip transportation and USF tickets.
