Ribbon-cutting ceremonies at the Mouth Trap were transformed into meat-cutting ceremonies at the restaurant's grand opening Wednesday.

A piece of gyro meat - made of beef, lamb and spices - was sliced by city officials to celebrate the opening of the sandwich shop."We are certainly pleased to have your here," said Steve Densley, president of the Provo/Orem Chamber of Commerce. "We think it's great to have you here across from the state and county complex."

The restaurant, at 43 E. Center, is owned by Paul and Betsy Brewer.
