Charlotte Marie Bridges Johnson, 68, died March 6, 1991 in a Salt Lake hospital.
She was born April 16, 1922 in Morgan, Colorado to John and Charlotte Hayes Bridges. She married Blair Johnson March 5, 1947 in the Manti LDS Temple. She graduated from BYU, did graduate work at BYU and the U of U, and earned her Masters Degree at the University of Nevada at Reno. She taught in the elementary schools and in high school at Millard High in Fillmore, and Gunnison High. In recent years she was a reading specialist at the Sanoma Elementary in Winnemucca. Active in the LDS Church holding many teaching positions.She is survived by her husband, Winnemucca, Nev.; daughter and son, Kris Edgar, Salt Lake City; and Kole, Palm Springs, Calif.; four grandchildren. Preceded in death by son, Cortney.
Funeral services will be held Monday, March 11, at 1 p.m., in the Winnemucca Stake Center, where friends may call from 11:30 a.m. until time of services. Graveside services and burial will take place Tuesday, 4 p.m., in the Gunnison, Utah Cemetery. Funeral directors, Olpin Mortuary, Fillmore.
