Richard B. White, principal hydrologist with EarthFax Engineering, will speak to the Utah Geological Association at noon Monday, March 11, at the Chuck-A-Rama Restaurant, 2960 Highland Drive.
White will discuss groundwater contamination from a uranium mill in southeastern Utah affecting a clay formation in the Dakota-Burro Canyon formation. This aquifer supplies domestic and industrial wells.
