The Salt Lake Community Education program is offering a class on "Sushi Made Simple," a one-night crash course in the culinary art of Japanese sushi preparation, taught by Mary Andrus Ross.
Cooked seafood will be used for sushi made in class; however, a discussion will be held on the types of uncooked seafood used and how to purchase them.The course will be Tuesday, March 12, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at East High School. The cost of the course is $15, which includes supplies, ingredients and a sushi dinner.
