Cecil Dean (Bud) Brown, age 64, passed away February 28, 1991, from injuries received in an automobile accident near Elko, Nevada.

Bud was born September, 29, 1926, in Salt Lake City, Utah, the son of Cecil Ernest and Elizabeth Lorene Gill Brown. He married Carma Lilith Gibson, on April 30, 1954, in Salt Lake City, Utah; the marriage was later solemnized in the LDS temple. Graduated from the University of Utah. Veteran of WW II. Bud retired just last year after being a brakeman for the Union Pacific Railroad for over 40 years. Member of the LDS Church. He enjoyed the out of doors and was an avid golfer, fisherman and hunter. Bud was a wonderful husband, father, and especially a loving grandpa. Bud was respected and admired by all who knew him. His passing saddens our hearts and leaves a great void in our lives.Survivors include his wife Carma; a son Keith E ( and Susannah) Brown; two daughters, Leslie (and Roger) Keddington and Susan (and Darrell) Ostler; and five grandchildren. Also surviving are his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Donald W. and Ursula Gibson; a brother, Robert (and Carma) Brown; and four sisters, Betty (and Robert) Baird; Berdella (and John) Keele; Barbara (and Jack) Bowers; and Karen (and Darel) Neilson.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 5th, 12 noon, at the Highland View 2nd Ward 2980 So. 2790 East, with Bishop Willard Jones officiating. Friends may call Monday, from 6 to 8 pm, at the Holbrook Funeral Chapel, 3251 So 2300 East, and at the church on Tuesday for one hour prior to the services. Interment: Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
