Martha Catherine Bishop Christensen, age 72, died February 28, 1991 at Delta.

Born June 1, 1918 at Hinckley to Don Taylor and Mary Alice Tullis Bishop. Married Merlin Deloy Christensen September 2, 1937 in Manti LDS Temple. Graduated Hinckley High School. Attended B Y U. Active member LDS Church serving as Primary President, Counselor in several Relief Society Presidencies, Laurel Teacher, amoung many other church responsibilities. Tremendous support to husband and served withhim in Manchester England Mission (1987 - 1988). Enjoyed needlework, oil painting, genealogy. Remembered for special love for grandchildren.Survived by husband, Delta; Sons and Daughters: Mrs. Gary (Shirley) Roper, Cedar City; Ray and Rinda, Kay and Suzanne, Kansas City, Missouri; Don Merlin and Marilyn, Jerry C. and Chris, Delta; Scott D. and Monica, Farmington; Mrs. Harold Lee (Ann Catherine) Schmid, Oak City; 28 grandchildren and eight great- grandchildren; brothers and sisters: David Clayton, Orem; Mrs. James L. (Mary) Anderson, Oak City. Preceded in death by Son Ken Deloy, Brothers: Max Mahonri, Gordon Taylor, and Eccles Tullis.

Funeral services Monday March 4, 1991 11:00 a.m. Delta Utah Stake Center, 92 North Center. Friends call at Nickle Mortuary on Sunday7 - 8 p.m. and at church Monday from 10 - 10:45 a.m. Burial in Delta Cemetery.
