Thomas N. Thompson, recently elected vice president/secretary of the National Association of Home Builders, will be the featured speaker during the Utah Builders Conference Friday, March 8, in the Hilton Hotel.

The Ownesboro, Ky., resident is president of Thompson Homes Inc., a family-owned and operated business founded by his father in 1948. His company builds about 50 single-family homes each year.Other speakers will be Utah Jazz and Salt Lake Golden Eagle owner Larry H. Miller; Thomas H. Heers, president of the Home Builders Association of Utah; Thayne Robson, director of the University of Utah Bureau of Business and Economic Research; Sen. Glade B. Nielsen; R-Roy; and Stephen E. Featherstone, business consultant.
