A reading series featuring the work of area high school students begins at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 28, at A Woman's Place bookstore, 1400 S. Foothill Drive.

Students from Highland High School will read from their work. The students have studied with Highland teacher Maureen Haltiner and artist-in-residence Dorothy Solomon.The reading series, which will be a monthly feature and will showcase the writing talent of area high school students, was launched by the Utah Arts Council's artist-in-residence program.
