Here's a chance to get your hands dirty for a good cause.

The Uinta National Forest Service is seeking volunteers to help plant 14,000 shrubs and 10,000 trees on the Spanish Fork Ranger District. Volunteers will work in the following areas: Mapleton bench, Hobble Creek Canyon, Diamond Fork, Santaquin bench, Vernon and possibly some sites in Nephi.The Forest Service needs volunteers to work Saturdays between March 16 and May 11 or other days as available. Groups or individuals interested in helping plant the trees and shrubs can call the Forest Service at 798-3571.
