Amelia Horridge Warburton, age 82, died February 25, 1991, in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Born December 21, 1908, in Bury, Lancashire, England, to Joseph Henry and Emma Clare Horridge. Married Samuel Warburton, Bury, Lancashire, England. They immigrated to the United States from England in 1951; their marriage later being solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Samuel died, April 3, 1966. Member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, church organist and member of the choir. Active supporter of the Missionary Program. Ardent knitter and crocheter, making slippers, baby clothes, afaghans, bed spreads, etc. as gifts for her loved ones. Dozens of children through the years have adopted Amelia as their grandmother, she loved them as her own.Survived by her sons and daughter, John Warburton (wife, Arlene), Preston, Idaho; Bernard "Bernie" Warburton (wife, Teresa), Salt Lake City; Maureen Kelley (husband, James A.), Sandy; grandchildren, David J. Warburton, Michael H. Kelley, Rita M. Cargill, Paul S. Warburton, Cherise A. Olsen, James B. Warburton, Michelle A. Warburton, Rachelle Finn, Carrie Fisher, Steven Warburton, Kaylene Warburton, Charlene Slater, Steve Slater, Kathy Skoglund and John Skoglund; 10 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by grandson, Gregory S. Kelley, in 1975, and a brother, John Horridge.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 2nd, 12 noon, Granite LDS Ward, 9575 South 3100 East, where friends may call 10-11:45 am. Interment, Larkin Sunset Gardens. Funeral directors, Larkin Mortuary.
